Delete a branch from a repository

You must be a P4 DAM administrator or the project administrator to delete a branch from a repository.

A repository must contain at least one branch.

The Default branch is the branch that was initially linked to the project and it cannot be deleted.
Delete a branch from a repository if it is no longer needed for the project. The branch still exists in the P4 Server and can be relinked to the project if required.

Open the repository to delete the branch from.

In the upper right of the page, below your avatar, click Manage branches.
The Manage branches pane opens.

Click the vertical ellipsis button
and click Delete.The confirmation dialog opens. All paths mapped in the branch will still be available in P4.

Click Delete.
The branch is deleted from the repository.
