View and update your Helix Core Cloud subscription

You can view information about your Helix Core Cloud subscription and change your subscription in the Helix Core Cloud portal.

To view and update your subscription, in the portal, click Subscription in the left navigation bar.

Information is displayed in the following areas:

Your current subscription

Displays:

  • Users: The number of users in your current subscription.

  • Storage: The amount of storage for your instance in gibibytes (GiB) per subscription term. By default, subscriptions include 64 GiB storage per term.

  • Egress: The amount of network egress for your instance in GiB per subscription term. Subscriptions include 64 GiB egress per term. If your instance exceeds the limit, overage charges are incurred.

  • Cost: The total cost for your subscription per term.

Tip

A subscription term starts on the day of subscription or renewal until the same calendar day of the next month minus one day. For example, if you subscribe on June 28, the term starts that day and ends July 27.

Options

Lets you change your subscription. You can review usage metrics to determine if you need to change your subscription. See View usage metrics for Helix Core Cloud.

  • Users: Enter or select the number of users to include in your subscription. You can increase or decrease the number of users.

  • Additional storage: Slide the bar to increase the storage for your instance. You cannot decrease storage. Each storage level is double the level below it. For example, you can only increase from 64 GiB to 128 GiB and from 128 GiB to 256 GiB.

    Important

    If you upgrade storage from 2 or 4 TiB to 8 TiB or more, you are prompted to put Helix Core Server into maintenance mode. During maintenance mode, the server will not be accessible for up to 4 hours while the upgrade and any other required patches or tasks are applied. Click Upgrade storage to put the server in maintenance mode and start the upgrade immediately.

  • Additional features: Enable additional features in your subscription. You can add Helix Swarm to your subscription to support your code review process. To learn more, see Add Helix Swarm to your subscription.

New subscription

Displays your subscription details and cost based on changes you make in the Options area.

To update your subscription with the changes, click Update subscription. It may take a few minutes to apply the changes.
