Subscribe and deploy P4 Cloud in AWS Marketplace
To use P4 Cloud with AWS Marketplace, subscribe to P4 Cloud in AWS Marketplace, create a Perforce account, and then configure your subscription and deployment. If you already have an AWS Marketplace account, follow the steps to subscribe to P4 Cloud in AWS Marketplace.

Step 2: Subscribe to P4 Cloud in AWS Marketplace
Before you can deploy P4 Cloud, you must subscribe to P4 Cloud in AWS Marketplace.

Log in to AWS Marketplace.

Go to the P4 Cloud offer.

On the Perforce P4 Cloud page, select Subscribe.
A message appears indicating that your request is being processed.

In the dialog, select Set up your account.
The Create a Perforce account page opens.
Step 3: Set up a Perforce account
After subscribing to P4 Cloud, create a Perforce account.

On the Create a Perforce account pane, enter the following information:
Field Description First name Enter your first name. Last name Enter your last name. Email Enter your company email address. Company Enter your company name. (Optional) Phone Enter your company phone number. Country Select the country where your company’s headquarters is located.

Select the checkbox to agree to receive email communications from Perforce.

Complete the human verification.

Select Register.
A verification email is sent to the email address you entered in Step 2.

Open the email and select the verification link to verify your email address and complete registration.
The Update password page opens.

Enter a new password.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and must contain uppercase and lowercase letters, and one or more special characters or numbers.

Confirm your new password.

Select Submit.
You can now sign in to the P4 Cloud portal.
Step 4: Configure your subscription and start deployment
After creating a Perforce account, configure your subscription and start deployment.

On the Subscribe to P4 Cloud page, enter the following information:
Field Description Administrator username Enter a username for logging in to P4 Server and the P4 Cloud portal. Some characters, such as @, are reserved for P4 Server and cannot be used. See Limitations on characters in filenames and entities in P4 CLI Reference. Administrator email Enter your company email address or the email address of the person responsible for your P4 Cloud subscription. Subscription name (Optional) Enter a name for your subscription. The name appears in the portal. DNS hostname Enter the hostname for registering your instance. The host name will be included in the address that users will connect to P4 with. The hostname cannot be changed later. The hostname you enter is appended with .helixcore.io to form the complete hostname, for example, my-instance.helixcore.io. The hostname must be lowercase, start with a letter, and end with a letter or number. It can contain only letters, numbers, and hyphens. There are some reserved keywords that you cannot use in the hostname. You are prompted to change the hostname if it contains a reserved keyword. Host region Geographic region where your instance will be deployed and hosted. The Azure resource group does not determine which region the instance is deployed to. Choose a region that is geographically closest to the majority of your users. Available regions are European Union - West, United Kingdom, United States - East, and United States - West. The value cannot be changed later. -
Enter or select the number of users based on your team requirements.
You can add more users at any time after subscribing.
By default, your subscription includes 64 gibibytes (GiB) of storage and 64 GiB of egress (outbound data transfer) per month. Overages are billed. You can increase storage at any time after subscribing, but you cannot decrease storage.

Select Continue to verify.
Review all the information on the page.

Select Create server.
P4 Server deployment starts and the P4 Cloud portal opens. The portal is where you manage your P4 Cloud subscription and instance. To learn more, see Manage the P4 Cloud portal | AWS Marketplace.
Deployment status is shown in the P4 Server status area on the Overview page. Deployment is typically completed in 10 - 15 minutes, but results can vary depending on the environment. When deployment is completed, the status changes from Deploying to Online. You are now ready to configure P4 for your team.
