Using the Helix Core Visual Client (P4V) to access the Helix Core Server
The Helix Core Visual Client (P4V) is the cross-platform graphical user interface for the Helix Core Server. P4V lets you to check files in and out, compare versions, work with streams, and more.

Download the Helix Visual Client (P4V).

Start P4V.
The Open Connection dialog box opens.

On the Remote Server tab, type the connection details.
Field Value Server <IP address copied after deployment> :1666
Example: ssl:34.168.10.170:1666User perforce

Click OK.
You are prompted to trust the fingerprint of the public key sent by the server.

Click Connect.

In the Perforce Password Required dialog box, type the password for the
perforce

Click OK.
You are logged in and can start using P4V.
