Overriding server options for specific mainline branches
You can override general, comment, changelist, filename and extension, and compliance server options for specific mainline branches. If you do not configure options for a specific mainline, the mainline options set on the Surround SCM Server are used. See Configuring the Surround SCM Server.
1. Select the mainline branch and choose Branch > Branch Properties.
The Properties dialog box opens.
2. Click the Options tab.
3. Select a category.

4. Select Override for the options to override and make any changes.
Select Inherit to use the mainline options set on the server.
5. Click OK to save the changes.
