Deleting OpenID Connect and SAML providers

You can delete OpenID Connect and SAML providers that you no longer need. A provider can only be deleted if no users are using it for the authentication method.

Note:  If a provider may be used again in the future, inactivate it instead of deleting it. See Inactivating OpenID Connect and SAML providers.

1. Make sure no users have the provider set as their authentication method. Add the SAML Provider column to the Global Users list to quickly see which users are using the provider.

2. Click Server Options.

The Server Options dialog box opens.

3. Select OpenID Connect/SAML from the Authentication category.

4. Select the provider to delete and click Delete.

You are prompted to confirm the deletion.

5. Click Yes.

The provider is deleted.
