Manually deleting builds

If you no longer need a build and the associated automated test results, you can delete the build from Helix ALM. For example, if you use the Helix ALM Test Management Jenkins plugin, you may have a lot of build and test result data that is no longer needed and can be deleted.

You can only delete builds that are unprotected from deletion and do not contain any automated test results linked to other items. See Protecting and unprotecting builds from deletion.

Tip:  Administrators and other high-level users can enable automatic deletion of builds and associated test results for the Helix ALM project. See Setting automated testing project options in the Helix ALM Desktop Client User Guide.

1. Click Automation Suites in the left navigation area.

The Automation Suites list opens.

2. Click the suite name or number. You can also select the suite, click Actions, and choose View.

The suite page opens.

3. Click the Builds tab.

4. Select the build to delete. You cannot delete protected builds.

5. Click Delete.

You are prompted to confirm the deletion. No undo is available.

6. Click Delete.

The build and associated test results are deleted.
