Creating text file export templates

If you export text files with the same field layout often, save the format as a template. You can load the template to use the same settings in future exports.

1. Set up the fields. See Exporting to text files.

2. Click Save Template in the Text Export dialog box.

Depending on the browser, the file is automatically downloaded or you are prompted to save it. The default filename is TextExportTemplate.etm.
