Adding licenses to the Perforce ALM License Server

Users must have a license to access Perforce ALM. Perforce ALM product licenses are managed in the Perforce ALM License Server. When you purchase a license, you need to add it to the license server before assigning it to users.

1. Start the Perforce ALM License Server Admin Utility.

2. Click Licenses.

The Perforce ALM Licenses dialog box opens.

3. Click Add.

The Add License dialog box opens.

4. Enter the serial number or click Browse to select a license file.

License files have a .lic extension. If you manually enter a license, the Serial Number field is case sensitive. Licenses can be entered with or without dashes.

5. Click OK to add the license.
