Adding users to the Perforce ALM License Server

Add users to the license server to provide access to Perforce ALM. Users added to the license server are global users and can be shared across Perforce ALM products.

You can also add global users and local users who only need Perforce ALM access directly in ALM. See the ALM documentation for information.

1. Start the Perforce ALM License Server Admin Utility.

2. Click Global Users.

The Global Users dialog box opens.

3. Click Add and then select Add User.

The Add User dialog box opens.

4. Enter information for the user and assign licenses. See the license server documentation for information.

5. Click Add to add the user to the Global Users list.

6. Close the Perforce ALM License Server Admin Utility.

You are prompted to change the communications and Administrator passwords. We strongly recommend changing these passwords to prevent unauthorized user access.

After global users are added to the license server, you can retrieve them in Perforce ALM and then add them to security groups. See the Perforce ALM documentation for information.
