Applying filters

You can filter list windows to view specific items. For example, you can apply a filter to the Issues list window to only view issues that are over three months old.

1. Select a filter from the Filter list in an item list window.

The list includes private filters you created and shared filters you have access to.

To narrow the list of filters to find the one you need, search for a filter, or add a new filter, click Filter actions and choose an option.

• Add Filter: Add a new filter to the project. To learn more, see Adding filters.
• Display Options: Limit the filters available in the Filters list by access type, favorites, or tags. If filters are hidden in the list based on selected display options, the number of hidden filters is displayed in the Filter list. To learn more, see Setting filter display options.
• Find Filter: Search for a filter to apply. To learn more, see Finding filters.

2. The filter is applied.

If the filter includes interactive restrictions, you are prompted to enter or select criteria. To learn more, see Selecting interactive filter criteria.

• Items that match the filter criteria are displayed in the list window.
• Select Not Filtered to display all items.
