Deleting field groups in a field layout

If a field group is no longer needed, you can delete it. Each field layout must have at least one field group.

To delete a field layout, see Deleting field layouts.

1.Choose Tools > Administration > Field Layouts.

The Field Layouts dialog box opens.

2. Select an Item type.

3. Select the group to delete.

4. Click Delete.

You are prompted to confirm the deletion. No undo is available.

5. Click Delete.

The group is deleted.
