Deleting workflow events
You can delete a workflow event if it is not used. If an event is referenced in the history for an item, it cannot be deleted.
If an event is still used in the project and you do not want users to access it, inactivate it. See Inactivating workflow events.
1. Choose Tools > Administration > Workflow.
The Configure Workflow dialog box opens.
2. Select an Item type.
3. Select an event and click Delete.
If the event is used in a state transition, it will no longer be available in the transition and may cause workflow problems if deleted. Evaluate the workflow to check for problems. See Evaluating workflows.
4. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
The event is deleted.
