Editing diagrams in text fields

You can edit diagrams in multi-line text fields that were created in Helix ALM. See Inserting diagrams in text fields.

Make sure you are using a browser that supports working with diagrams in Helix ALM. Internet Explorer is not supported. See the list of supported browsers.

1. Select the diagram in the field.

2. Click on the formatting toolbar.

The Edit Diagram dialog box opens.

3. Make any changes.

4. Click Apply to save the changes.

Resizing diagrams

If you resize a diagram in the field, the quality may be affected. The original diagram size is preserved if you open it in the Edit Diagram dialog box.

To resize a diagram, select it and drag a corner.

You can also resize a diagram using specific dimensions or percentage.

1. Select the diagram and choose Format > Image Size. You can also right-click the diagram and choose Edit Image Size.

The Edit Image Size dialog box opens.

2. Enter the Width and Height. You can enter a percentage or pixels.

3. Select Maintain aspect ratio to avoid adjusting the image out of proportion.

4. Click Save to save the changes.
