Importing Microsoft Word export templates
You can import Word export templates from an XML file exported from another Helix ALM project. See Exporting Microsoft Word export templates.
1. With an item list open, click Actions and choose Export to Microsoft Word.
The Export to Microsoft Word dialog box opens.
2. Click Configure Templates.
The Configure Word Export Templates dialog box opens.
3. Click Import.
The Open dialog box opens.
4. Select the XML file that contains the templates and click Open.
A progress indicator may open if you are importing multiple templates. The templates are imported. A confirmation dialog box opens.
Note: If there is a problem with the file, the XML Import Warnings and Errors dialog box opens. Click Save As to save the contents of the dialog as a text file, which can help with troubleshooting.

Note: If the security groups selected to use a template are not in the project you import templates to, the template Security group field is set to <not set>. Make sure to check security on templates you imported to confirm the correct groups have access to them.
