Deleting issues
Only delete issues if they are not needed. If an issue is a duplicate, you can merge it with another issue. See Merging issues. If you want to keep a record of the issue but it does not need to be fixed, you may be able to add a workflow event to close it. See Adding workflow events to items.
Note: You cannot delete issues that are in public folders that you do not have permission to modify or are locked, or locked private folders.
1. In the Issues list window, select the issue and click Delete. You can also choose Edit > Delete.
You are prompted to confirm the deletion.
2. Click Yes.
The issue is deleted.
