Exporting saved list window tabs

You can export saved list window tabs to an XML file. You can then use the file to import the tabs to other Helix ALM projects. See Importing saved list window tabs.

1. Choose Tabs > Manage Saved Tabs.

The Saved Tabs dialog box opens. The available options depend on your security permissions.

2. Select a Show option to limit the tabs displayed.

You can see tabs you own, tabs shared with you, all saved tabs, tabs owned by inactive users, and tabs set as defaults for security groups.

3. Select a List window type to limit the tabs displayed by item type.

To view tabs for all lists based on the selected Show option, select <All>.

4. Select the tabs to export and click Export.

The Export Saved Tabs dialog box opens.

5. Choose a location to save the file in and enter a File name.

The default filename is Tabs_Export.xml.

6. Click Save.

The tabs are exported and saved as an XML file.
