Getting started with Gantt scheduling
You can use P4 Plan to plan your projects using Gantt scheduling. This works by adding scheduled tasks, which can be connected to other tasks to create dependencies and sort tasks chronologically. For example, if one task requires another to be completed first, you can connect the two and set their respective start and end dates. To add new tasks in the Gantt scheduling mode, refer to Creating scheduled tasks.
When you are making a project plan and assign tasks to users or change anything, those changes will take effect immediately across the entire project server.
If you want to co-ordinate between several projects, you can use the Portfolio allocations tool. See Portfolio allocations.
