This topic explains how to integrate P4 Plan with Jira Server. Atlassian is deprecating Jira Server, which means that the Jira Server integration will reach end-of-life soon. If you use Jira Cloud or Data Center, see the Jira integration documentation.
In Jira, create a filter to select the issues to sync with P4 Plan. Make sure you are logged in as the Jira user you created for the integration. If you want to use an existing filter, share it with the user. Even though multiple P4 Plan projects can sync to multiple Jira servers, the integration is limited to one user per Jira server it syncs to. See the Jira help for information about creating and sharing filters.
You will select this filter when configuring the Jira project synchronization settings in P4 Plan.
