Getting started with the Helix Plan Helix Core integration

The Helix Plan Helix Core integration provides an easy way to associate changelists from Helix Core with Helix Plan items from the Helix Visual Client (P4V) for traceability purposes. You can add a changelist to an assigned item in your Helix Plan To Do List or remove the changelist if it no longer needs to be linked to the item.

When you add a changelist to a Helix Plan item, information about the item can be included in the changelist description and information about the changelist is displayed in Helix Plan. If Helix Swarm is integrated with P4V, a link to the changelist is included in Helix Plan. Clicking the link opens the changelist in Helix Swarm.

The integration is available via the Helix Plan Web.

Perform the following steps to set up and use the integration depending on your role.

Administrator

1. Install and configure the integration.

2. Provide users with information they need to access the integration from P4V and log in.

Users

1. Get information about accessing the integration from P4V and logging in from your administrator.

2. Add changelists to your assigned Helix Plan items.
