Adding Helix Core changelists to Helix Plan items

Add a Helix Core changelist to a Helix Plan item to track files you worked on for your tasks. You can add a pending or submitted changelist, but only those you submitted because the integration cannot add comments to changelists you did not submit.

1. If you are not already working in the integration, in P4V, right-click the changelist to add to a Helix Plan item and choose Add changelist to Helix Plan item.

The Helix Plan login page opens.

The menu item name may be different depending on the integration configuration. Ask your administrator for help.

2. Enter your Helix Plan Username and Password.

You may be able to use an authentication token to log in so you do not have to enter your username and password every time you access Helix Plan. For more information, see Using authentication tokens in the Helix Plan user documentation.

3. Click Log in.

The Helix Plan To Do List opens.

4. Click Add in the Helix Core column next to the item to add the changelist to.

The changelist is added to the Helix Plan item. The button in the Helix Core column changes to Remove. You can remove the changelist from the item if you no longer want them to be associated. See Removing Helix Core changelists from Helix Plan items.

You can view information about the added changelist in P4V or the Helix Plan news feed. See Viewing information about Helix Core changelists and Helix Plan items.

You can click items in the To Do List to view them and perform some other actions available in the Helix Plan web client. See the web client help for information.
