Customizing Charts

In this chapter, you will be working with Cartesian charts to learn how to customize charts using Views Studio. You will see two examples.

• In Example 1: Charting Temperatures and Pressures of the Week, you will see how to:

  • Use several independent ordinate scales.

  • Define a grid associated with a scale.

  • Define a related ordinate scale.

  • Create a stacked or a side-by-side representation.

• In Example 2: Charting Analytic Functions, you will see how to:

  • Use a data set defined by a script function.

  • Use logarithmic scales.

  • Connect a legend to a chart.
