Introducing Dynamic View Services

Server offers interface services called dynamic view services to interface a server object model with application components.

This chapter is divided as follows:

• Notification and View Services: Overview describes how notification and view services work.

• Dynamic Views focuses on the outstanding features of dynamic view services.

You may want to turn to Part 2 of the User’s Manual and to the Reference Manual for more information about dynamic views and the related view types.

To help you streamline the development of Server applications, Server dynamic view services are integrated with a GUI Builder, called Server Studio, based on Views. This graphical implementation is discussed in Defining Dynamic Views Using Server Studio.
