Presenting the Company Example
To make the presentation clearer, we begin with the Rogue Wave® Server application that we are going to use as an example and to which we will refer throughout the chapter to explain views and notification.
An Rogue Wave Server application consists of:
an object model designed using various modeling features (see
Part I, Modeling Services);
a set of view types, each view type corresponding to a representation of an instance of the object model. Representations are managed by application components.
