It can often be necessary to control the order in which events are propagated and representations are created for a view. There are two levels of control:

By default, Rogue Wave Server Studio automatically propagates relations after representations are created. This is indicated by the relations being colored green. However, if you need to propagate the relation before creating the representation, you have to change the propagation order to Propagate Before. To do so, click on the relation name with the right mouse button and select Propagate Before from the context-sensitive pop-up menu. The relation changes to blue to show that it will now be propagated before the representations are created for this class.

It is sometimes necessary to indicate that a certain relation in a class must be propagated before another in the same class. By default, relations in a class are propagated either in alphabetical order if the model is sorted, or, if the model is not sorted, in the same order as they were declared to the model interpreter. If you need finer control over the propagation order, you can move the relations that belong to a class so that they are propagated following their order in the model pane. Note that the order is controlled by the relations that appear directly below the class icon.
