Creating a Simple Application

In the following example, you will create a simple application with two panels. Only one of the panels is visible when the application is started. The objective is to open the second panel by clicking a button on the first panel.

If you are already working in Views Studio, start by choosing Close All from the Window menu to close all open buffers. Then, open a new application buffer window by choosing New from the File menu and Application in the submenu that appears.
