Graphic Formats Supported

Views can work with the following vectorial and bitmap formats:

• Vectorial:

  • DXF (input and output)

  • DCW (input)

  • WMF (Microsoft Windows only, output)

  • PostScript (output)

  • SVG (input)

• Bitmap (input and output):

  • BMP - the standard Microsoft Windows bitmap format.

  • JPG or JPEG - one of the most common formats used, especially for photos

  • JPEG 2000 - JPEG format offering scalable compression

  • PNG

  • SGI RGB - mainly used on the SGI Platform

  • TIFF - Tagged Image Format File

  • PPM - mainly used on UNIX platforms

  • WBMP - used on WAP devices
