Patch process has been changed
From version 7.0 onward, patch releases use the same installers as the main release version and contain everything needed to use Views. It is possible to install a patch over the main release or previous patch. ABI and API compatibility will still be intact.
Upcoming retirements
Views 8.0 will retire the following list of platforms, compilers, and databases. Contact your Perforce account manager or Views support if you have any questions.
