The IlvPort Base Class

The class IlvPort defines a drawing port in one of two ways, either:

Physically as a screen or bitmap, via The IlvSystemPort Class, described furtherpage 138.

In a dedicated zone as a file or a printer.

The other two subclasses are:

IlvBitmap, providing bitmap support as described in Bitmaps page 99.

The subclass IlvAbstractView is the base class for views. This subject is treated at length in Views. See especially IlvAbstractView: The Base Class page 133.
