One-to-many Relations
In the same way as you can establish a relation between two objects, you can have one object that owns or uses other objects. These types of relations are called one-to-many. Rogue Wave® Server relations are defined as instances of class templates provided by the Rogue Wave Server library. One-to-many relations are classified in three main categories:
list-relations, set-relations, and array-relations.
*List-relations are relations in which target objects can be accessed sequentially.
They are subdivided into simple list-relations and sorted list-relations.
*Set-relations are relations in which target objects are grouped in a non-ordered set and can be accessed by a key.
*Array-relations.
The table below lists the class templates to define one-to-many relations.
