Viewed Relations
Potentially, any server relation is a relation to which a view can subscribe. Such a relation, also called a viewed relation, must be an instance of a subclass of IlsViewedRel. Since IlsViewedRel is the base class for all Rogue Wave® Server class templates that declare relations, a view can subscribe to any instance of a server relation.

Moreover, for a view to be able to subscribe to a server relation, this relation must have been declared to the server model interpreter. This idea is explained in Chapter 8, Defining Runtime Access to the Server Model. (See also “Notification States”.)
