Multiple-Row-Type Tables
This section explains what multiple-row-type tables are and how to create such a table, manage multiple row types and delete rows.
Definition
Multiple-row-type tables are table that can store more than one row type, either to represent the contents of more than one server relation or to represent server object of different types stored in the same server relation (for instance, a type and its subtypes).
Rogue Wave Server Studio lets you create such tables and drag more than one server relation in the same table.
*Because such a table may represent more than one server relation, a specific API is provided to enable the user to select the right collector when inserting an object.
*Because such a table may represent objects of different types, a specific API is provided to enable the user to select the right row type with the purpose of creating server objects of a specific type.
