How to Work Off-line
The normal use of Rogue Wave Server Studio is to connect to an object server before you load the server model. This assumes that the server is running while your are creating your views.
However, it is possible to save the model to a file once you have connected to an object server and loaded the model so that you can later create views for an object model without having to connect to the object server each time.
Warning: Be careful that your object server model does not change while you are working on it from a file. |
To save a model to a file:
1. Choose “Save Model to file” from the File menu in the Server Data Source inspector.
2. Choose “Load Model from file” from the File menu.
