Connecting Components and Opening Views
Once the
dynamic view server is initialized and running, you can connect one or more
application components to it so that these components can open views on the server
object model.
This section is divided as follows:
Connecting a Component to a View Server explains how to connect an application component to a dynamic view server, either from the component or from the server. You can use command line options or, if you work with Rogue Wave Server Studio, a graphical connection panel.
Opening Views explains how to select a main origin for the view and details various ways of opening a view.
Connection Control explains how you can control on the server side which components connect and when.
