These Release Notes give detail on the topics summarized in the Highlights box. We recommend you read them before you start working with Rogue Wave® Server 5.1.

The Release Notes are divided as follows:

Licensing draws your attention to the licensing scheme for Rogue Wave Server 5.1.

New C++ Classes and Changes to Existing Classes provides a list of the changes to the Rogue Wave Server 4.2 API, classified as follows:

New Types: Type definitions, callbacks, and classes that have been added, changed or removed

New Member Functions and Changes to Existing Functions: Member functions that have been added, changed or removed in existing classes, on a class-by-class basis
