Introduction
This online version of the Reference Manual documents Rogue Wave® Server, a large-scale object engine combining business objects with real-time business event notification to implement multi-tier client/server applications. It can be consulted from any HTML browser. A table of contents and an index give you direct access to any class or method.
This section is divided as follows:
*Chapter 1, Rogue Wave Server Library, by far the longest, describes each class of the Rogue Wave® Server library, including category, inheritance path, purpose, header file name, synopsis, data nember, member functions, operators, and related classes.
*Chapter 2, Semantics of Dynamic View Type Specifications, explains the semantics rules that underlie the specification of dynamic view types.
*Chapter 3, Rogue Wave Views Script for the Server Side, lists the server-side Rogue Wave Views Script classes.
*Chapter 4, Rogue Wave Views Script for the Server/Views Mappingdescribes the global methods and classes that are accessible for Server/Rogue Wave Views integration.
*Appendix , Environment Variables provides the environment variables you need to know how to manage specific features, such as debugging, tracing, and configuring.
*Appendix , Compiler Options for Multithreaded Applications shows the compiler or compiler/linker options you should use to build multithreaded applications.
*Appendix , Grammar of Dynamic View Type Specifications provides the complete grammar to be used when writing dynamic view type specification files.
