The Network application presented in Chapter 4 is composed of five panels that display a network from various viewpoints. These panels are graphical representations, designed with Rogue Wave® Server Studio, of different views of the same underlying Network object model.

In this chapter, you are going to build two of the Network application panels, the Network panel and the Domain Nodes panel. You will learn how to define their associated views, that is, the DomainsOfNetwork view and the DomainNodes view, using the Server Data Source inspector panel of Rogue Wave Server Studio. In other words, you will learn how to dynamically map server objects to graphic gadgets handled by an Rogue Wave Data Access-based application component. The illustrations below show the Network and Domain Nodes panels as they appear in the final Network application.
