Perforce JViews 10.1 JDK11

This document describes the main changes that have been made to JViews since 10.0 JDK11.

1 General changes

• JViews libraries are compatible with Oracle and OpenJDK Java 11 - 25.

• Added support for the onmouseover attribute in jv:imageButton.

• Fixed broken JViews samples in the Maps module: symbolsonmaps, label, and app6a.

• Resolved several bugs to improve overall stability and behavior across the application.

• Removed the dependency on com.sun.javadoc from JViews by migrating to the jdk.javadoc.doclet.

• Updated the open-source packages used by JViews to eliminate critical security vulnerabilities.

• Eclipse plugin for JViews are now supported till Eclipse 2026-06.
