Running the server-side samples on Apache Tomcat

The distribution contains several samples that show the use of the product running in a Web client. To run the server-side samples, the library requires a Web server compatible with JViews (see Requirements for JViews Maps ). The Tomcat Web server is supplied with the distribution so that you are not required to download a Web server to run these samples. Tomcat is the official reference implementation of the Servlet and JSP™ specifications. For more information about Tomcat, see http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/.
