JViews Gantt includes a rich set of sample code to be used as a reference for the development of an application. Samples fall into two areas: application samples and server-side samples. All sample source code is in the subdirectories of <installdir>/<jviews-product>/samples.

JViews Gantt is based on the Java™ Platform, Standard Edition (Java SE). To run a client application, you must have the Java Platform, Standard Edition Runtime Environment (JRE™). To run a server-side application within the provided Apache™ Tomcat server, you must run Tomcat with a Java SE installation (see http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/overview/index.html).
