General links
In the Designer, an IlvGeneralLink is used to represent the links between the nodes in the diagram. You can customize the links in the Styling Customizer through a set of tabs:
*Shape: Choose the end, the join, the crossing mode of links
*Width: Specify the width of the link, as well as minimum and maximum widths
*Skin: Specify a gradient or a texture effect
*Arrow: Specify the type of arrow or no arrow, as well as the color of the arrow
*Border: Specify the width of the border, a color for the upper edge of the border and a different color for the lower edge
*Label: Place a text label at a given distance from the link
*Tooltip: Specify a tooltip for the link
*Ports: Configure the ports to which the links are attached on a symbol
You can also customize these aspects through CSS. Please refer to Customizing general links in the style sheet in Developing with the JViews Diagrammer SDK.
For details about the ports configuration, please refer to The Composite renderer in Developing with the JViews Diagrammer SDK.
