Two kinds of rules
You can distinguish two sets of style rules:
Rules that customize the global appearance of the chart.
These rules are applied to the elements of the chart, such as chart area, legend, scales and grids. You can find a detailed description in the section

Rules that control how individual data series or data objects are rendered.
These rules are applied to the graphical representation of data points. You can find a detailed description in
Styling the data series.
