Incompatibilities

• Some deprecated beaninfo classes were eventually removed. So were classes IlvLatitudeEditor, IlvLongitudeEditor and IlvCoordinateEditor from package ilog.views.maps.beans.editor. They are now available in package ilog.views.maps.projection.

• Updated JSF support with migration for the reference implementation 1.1 and 1.2, and support for alternate implementations such as Apache MyFaces (1.2.3).
• New support of leading PPR frameworks such as ICEsoft ICEfaces (1.7.2), Apache Trinidad (1.2.8), and JBoss RichFaces (3.2.1) JSF component libraries.
• New support of ICEsoft ICEfaces server push.
• Updated support for JSR168 portals such as Apache Pluto (1.1.4) and LifeRay (5.1).
• News demos: Thin client demo featuring Google Maps integration, air traffic control demo featuring JViews Framework symbols overlaid on top of map background.

ilog.views.maps.graphic.style.IlvLinkStyle

An IlvMapStyle which is intended to be used by a IlvMapPolyline graphic object.

This class is a named property, attached to an IlvSDMEngine instance, that will store symbol model data when the map is saved.

This XML connector uses an IlvPersistentSDMNodeFactory to recreate nodes.

Interface, passed to an IlvPersistentSDMModelProperty, that indicates the way model nodes should be created.

  • getFeatureIterator(): Retrieves the feature iterator used by this data source.

ilog.views.maps.format.geotiff.IlvGeotiffTagDictionnary

• New methods:
  • getPixelTransformation(): Retrieves the affine transformations between raster and model space, or null if the tag is not present.

ilog.views.maps.format.shapefile.IlvShapeFileTileLoader

• Overview of new features:
  • Getters to retrieve DBF, SHX and SHP URLs.
  • New methods to finely control string management when loading DBF files (encoding and interning).
• New methods:
  • getDBFURL(): Retrieves the DBF file URL.

  • getMaxImageSize(): Returns the maximum image size allowed by this reader.

  • setZoomable(boolean): Indicates whether the line width of the decoration should be zoomable.

ilog.views.maps.label.IlvMapAreaLabel

• New methods:
  • getDefaultParameters(IlvMapLabelStyle): Returns the advanced parameters to use for IlvMapAreaLabel using the specified style.

ilog.views.maps.label.IlvMapDefaultLabeler

  • getLabelManager(): Returns the label manager in charge of creating, placing and displaying the labels.

  • callJITLoaderIfNecessary(IlvRasterProperties, boolean): This method checks if the data has not been loaded and there is JITDataLoader and then loads it.

  • isLoadRetryingOnOutOfMemory(): Returns the indication whether load(IlvTile) should manage OutOfMemoryError when a JITDataLoader is set on the image.
