JViews Gantt includes a rich set of sample code to be used as a reference for the development of an application. Samples fall into three areas: application samples, applet samples, and server-side samples. All sample source code is in the subdirectories of <installdir>/<jviews-product>/samples.

JViews Gantt is based on the Java™ Platform, Standard Edition (Java SE). To run a client application, you must have the Java Platform, Standard Edition Runtime Environment (JRE™). To run a server-side application within the provided Apache™ Tomcat server, you must run Tomcat with a Java SE installation (see http://java.sun.com/javase). To run a sample applet, you must have the Java plug-in installed in your browser (see http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/).
