This document describes the main changes that have been made to JViews TGO since version 8.7.

General Changes

• Multiple Browser Sessions
  It is now easier to design a web application in such a way that the end user can simultaneously open multiple instances of the same web application in a browser, each page preserving its own context.
• JViews Web application security improvement
  JViews Web client/server exchange protocols have been documented. A mechanism to validate the HTTP request sent to the server has been implemented and can be enabled if neccessary. Parameters included in the request can be checked so that attacks on JViews Web application servers can be more easily rejected.

• Overview of new features:
  • Allows better control over the locking mechanism, used when customizing the IlSynchronizationStrategy.
• New constructors:
  • IlpManagerView(IlpGraphicView, IlvManager, IlvTransformer, IlSynchronizationContext, boolean): A Constructor that takes an IlSynchronizationContext as a parameter, which allows better control over multi-threading.

ilog.tgo.faces.network.dhtml.component.IltFacesDHTMLNetworkView

• Overview of new features:
  • Allows control over whether accessibility features are enabled or disabled.
• New methods:
  • setAccessible(boolean):

    Sets the accessible property, which controls whether the accessibility features are enabled or disabled.

  • isAccessible():

    Returns whether the accessible property is true or false.

ilog.tgo.faces.equipment.dhtml.component.IltFacesDHTMLEquipmentView

• Overview of new features:
  • Allows control over whether accessibility features are enabled or disabled.
• New methods:
  • setAccessible(boolean):

    Sets the accessible property, which controls whether the accessibility features are enabled or disabled.

  • isAccessible():

    Returns whether the accessible property is true or false.

Example Changes

• Sample faces/jsf-integration-monitoring has been updated to better integrate and synchronize the JViews TGO data model (data sources) with the MyFaces tree and table components.
• Sample faces/jsf-integration-equipment-viewer has been updated to support multiple browser pages opened simultaneously.
