Incompatibilities

• XML configuration files for the Network and Equipment components are no longer supported.
• XML style files are no longer supported.
• Dependency of the library towards JDOM library has been removed. All classes which previously made use of JDOM classes have been changed to use org.w3c.dom classes.
• All style keys which were previously declared in classes ilog.cpl.model.IlpObject and ilog.cpl.model.IlpAttribute have been moved to classes ilog.cpl.style.key.IlpObjectKeys and ilog.cpl.style.key.IlpAttributeKeys.
• ilog.cpl.css.IlpBusinessObjectCustomization has been moved to ilog.cpl.datasource.css.IlpBusinessObjectCustomization.

• Faces Components:
  • The following clientSelectInteractor Faces component properties have been deprecated:
    • lineWidth
    • lineColor
    • imageMode
    • forceUpdateProperties
    • onSelectionChanged
    • infoProviderMethodBinding
    The recommended replacements are the respective properties in the selectionManager. Note that the clientSelectInteractor's infoProviderMethodBinding is also deprecated in the selectionManager. This is because the selectionManager's property accessor facility should be used instead to expose model properties to remote clients.
  • The clientSelectInteractor's infoProviderMethodBinding expected signature has been changed to the less restrictive return type of a java.util.List instead of the previous java.util.ArrayList.
  • The JViews TGO Faces components now have their rtexprvalue set to false instead of true in the Tag Library Definition in order to comply with JSF specification.
• TGO Thin Client
  • The TGO thin client is no longer supported in JViews TGO 8.0, its functionalities have been replaced by the TGO Faces.
  • The JAR file servlet.jar is no longer available.
  • The JavaScript file jtgothinclient.js is no longer available.

General Changes

• Wildcards support for cascading style sheet configuration in the table component.
• Graphic rendering optimizations for Polygonal groups, Linear groups and BTS objects.
• More configuration of the subnetwork title using cascading style sheets.
• Support for blinking colors in Image Color Tuner application.
• JViews TGO now contains a new set of images which can be used to create custom look and feels. These images are provided as a contribution placed in <install_dir>/data/ilog/tgo/custom. These images can be used with the following renderers:

• Faces Components:
  • The JViews TGO Network and Equipment Faces components now:
    • Support tiling which allows for the ability to tile the view and cache portions of it when user interactions such as panning or zooming take place.
    • Allow to specify programmatically the area displayed in the view.
    • Allow to specify a set of predefined zoom levels that can be enforced during user interaction.
    • Allow to specify the view's maximum zoom level allowed.
  • A new Selection Manager Faces component has been introduced to consolidate the selection management in the JViews TGO Faces components. The Selection Manager supports interaction with the clientSelectInteractor Faces component and provides the ability for developers to provide a property accessor that exposes model properties to remote clients.

• Overview of new features:
  • Support to retrieve a mutable style sheet that can be used to change the view configuration dynamically. This mutable style sheet is also used by different interactors to store their changes.

  • getMutableStyleSheet(): Returns a mutable style sheet that can be used to change the view configuration dynamically.
