New Features
The code of Oracle drivers has been factorized. With this release, a single driver is used for any supported Oracle version.
The connection arguments do not need to be changed. All previous versions of DB Link accepted database names (oracle10, oracle11, and oracle) are still recognized.
For applications configured for dynamically loading drivers, the code compilation and linking phases do not need to be changed. For applications statically linking drivers, the link options should be changed because the single Oracle driver is now named dbora (libdbora.so on UNIX/Linux; dbora.dll on Windows).
DB Link supports Oracle Instant Client
When using Instant Client, the authentication string of the form "<user>/<password>@<service>" is not accepted.
