This release of DB Link is compatible with previous 4.x releases.

New features are added, but all previously existing functions remain the same. Porting an application built with DB Link 4.x to DB Link 5.0 consists simply in rebuilding the application, since the header files are modified.

Compatibility with the previous 3.x versions is no longer supported.
