A.1 Unsupported Functions

Rogue Wave Software Technical Support staff can only support products written by Rogue Wave Software. The Secure Sockets package provides access to the underlying cryptography library for the convenience of our users only. Providing this access does not mean that we support every function we provide.

The following functions of the Secure Sockets package are unsupported by Rogue Wave Software. Please call your cryptography vendor for support of these features.

• RWSecureSocket::getConnection.

• RWSecureSecketContext::setCipherList.

• Any use of pointers to an underlying cryptography library data structure. (Usually obtained using the getRep() on any Rogue Wave class.)

• Writing callbacks, including Passwords, Handshake Information, Certificate Verify, and Client Certificate callbacks.

Rogue Wave Software Technical Support staff may refer you to your cryptography library vendor if it determines that your problem would be best handled by their staff.
