2.1 Class Groups of the Currency Module

The Currency Module Reference Guide consists of the following class groups:

• Currency Classes contain information about a particular currency. (See Section 2.2.)

• The Money Class contains the global operators for arithmetic operations between money objects of the same currency. (See Section 2.3.)

• The Money Calculator Class performs arithmetic operations when the money operands are not the same currency. (See Section 2.4.)

• Conversion Classes convert money of one currency into money of another currency. (See Section 2.5.)

• Decimal Classes provide exact representation and computation with decimal numbers. (See Section 2.6.)

• The Formatting Class provides a layered interface to the formatting facilities. (See Section 2.7.)
